Grant writing is one of the most time-consuming parts of running a nonprofit. Between researching opportunities, validating fit, writing applications, tracking deadlines, and following up, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.
That’s why we’ve refreshed the Grant Dashboard in Vee, to make it easier to understand the value you’re getting, see what matters most, and take the right next step at the right time.
This walkthrough shows how the updated dashboard helps nonprofits stay organized, save time, and confidently move grants forward.
See Your Progress at a Glance
At the top of your dashboard, you’ll find a snapshot of your grant activity, including:
Time saved
Applications written
Grants currently in progress
Vee calculates time saved based on the research, vetting, and writing work handled by Grant behind the scenes. This gives you a clearer picture of the effort being reduced, not just what’s submitted, but the work you didn’t have to do yourself.
Your Grants To-Do List: What Matters Most Right Now
The Grants To-Do list is the most important section of the dashboard.
This is where Vee prioritizes exactly what needs your attention next, whether an opportunity is ready for review, needs feedback, or is approaching submission.
If you’re just getting started, you may only see best-fit grant suggestions. As you begin writing and submitting applications, this list becomes a clear, step-by-step guide so nothing falls through the cracks.
Best-Fit Grant Suggestions, Explained
Below the To-Do list, you’ll find Best-Fit Grant Suggestions curated by Grant.
Each opportunity is matched based on your organization’s:
Location
Programs and services
Funding priorities
The funder’s eligibility criteria
For every recommendation, Vee explains why it’s a match. This context helps you quickly decide whether an opportunity is worth pursuing before investing time in writing.
You can also review what the funder does and does not support, and click through to the funder’s website for additional due diligence if needed.
Validate Fit Before You Start Writing
Each grant includes a validation checklist that separates:
Essential requirements (must-have eligibility criteria)
Nice-to-haves (not required, but helpful)
This allows you to make informed decisions early and focus your efforts only on opportunities that are truly viable for your organization.
Your Feedback Improves Future Matches
If a grant isn’t a good fit, you can tell Vee why.
That feedback plays a critical role, especially early on. It helps Grant learn what doesn’t work for your organization so future recommendations are more accurate and relevant.
If an opportunity truly isn’t a match, it’s replaced, no waiting for the next cycle.
Writing Grants with Vee
When you decide to move forward, you can choose to:
Write the grant with Vee using a credit, or
Track the opportunity independently and manage submission yourself
One credit equals one full application, whether that’s a letter of intent (LOI) or a full online application.
When writing with Vee, the full draft is generated in approximately 10–15 minutes, and you’re notified as soon as it’s ready for review.
Review, Edit, and Refine in One Place
Once a draft is ready, every question is pre-filled inside the platform.
You can:
Edit responses directly, or
Provide feedback to adjust tone, structure, or wording
Over time, Vee learns how you write, which helps future applications become faster, more aligned, and easier to finalize.
You Stay in Control of Submissions
While Vee supports preparation, you submit every grant yourself.
This ensures accuracy, transparency, and preserves the direct relationship between your organization and the funder.
LOIs can be downloaded as ready-to-send PDFs with your branding
Online applications include guidance to the correct portal and easy transfer of content
Track Every Application in One Dashboard
As you submit grants, everything is tracked in the Applications Board.
This Kanban-style view shows what’s:
In progress
Ready for review
Submitted
Awarded
It’s a single source of truth that keeps your entire grant pipeline organized.
Close the Loop and Keep Improving
When you hear back from a funder, whether the outcome is positive or not, you can update the status in Vee.
If awarded, the funding is 100% yours
If declined, any feedback can be stored to improve future applications
These insights help Vee identify better opportunities and continuously improve results over time.
Built to Support Your Team, Not Replace It
Vee supports nonprofits from grant discovery to writing to tracking, while keeping you in control of submissions and relationships.
The more you use the platform, the more personalized and effective it becomes.
This is grant management designed to reduce overwhelm and help your mission move forward, with clarity, structure, and confidence.
