How BRCA Strong Hit 11.3K Reach, and Why Their Sponsors Noticed

About BRCAStrong


BRCA Strong is a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women before and after mastectomy surgery as they navigate breast cancer treatment, recovery, and survivorship. Their mission is to provide community, confidence, and care through resources, support programs, and empowerment initiatives. With a small, committed team and a growing community of women turning to them for guidance.


The Challenge


BRCA Strong needed a way to show up online with the consistency their mission deserved without overwhelming their already stretched staff.


Before Vee, BRCA Strong was manually posting on social media every day, twice a day,  just to maintain visibility and connection with their audience. Content creation was a heavy lift: writing, designing, and posting took hours they didn’t have. Although they were hesitant to move forward with Vee at first, unsure whether AI could reflect the sensitivity and emotional depth of their mission, they recognized that their current pace wasn’t sustainable. They needed to stay consistent for the women relying on them, but the workload was burning them out.


The Solution with Vee

Once they decided to try Vee, everything shifted.


Maggie, Vee’s AI social media teammate, quickly learned BRCA Strong’s tone, mission, and emotional landscape. In just a few months, the organization moved from three posts per week to five with Vee, giving their community more touchpoints and their team more breathing room. By the end of their first full calendar year with Vee, BRCAStrong doubled that output again, reaching 10 posts per week, entrusting Vee with the full scope of social media at a high touch “twice-a-day” cadence they once struggled to maintain, but now with ease. 


Maggie helped them stay active and emotionally present for their audience without sacrificing time, energy, or authenticity.


Why They Use Vee


BRCA Strong’s initial hesitation disappeared as soon as they saw how naturally Maggie captured their voice and mission. What started as uncertainty quickly turned into confidence as they realized they could treat Maggie like a real extension of their team. They began sending her content, texting her from live events, and even emailing photos and quick notes for post content and concepts. Maggie learned their tone, their rhythm, and the emotional sensitivity of their work and the team could trust that she would turn their raw moments into polished, on-brand content for them to approve and publish. Instead of struggling to keep up with posting twice a day, BRCAStrong finally felt supported by a tool that moved at the speed of their community.
